Project Overview

Newman Properties is proposing an upscale mixed-use development project that has been designed to maintain the unique island character of the surrounding neighborhoods. The project includes 12 two story buildings with 130 two-bedroom apartments and approximately 7000 square feet of neighborhood retail space facing Ransom Rd. The apartment rents will range from $1700 - $2400. Our target commercial tenant search will focus on smaller neighborhood concepts such as a fresh organic Island style café, market deli - bakery, salon-spa, bike shop, bookstore, music store, dog groomer - day care, fitness facility etc. We envision 2-3 small businesses that will support the existing neighborhoods.   


The overall site is 12.9 acres with 6.3 acres remaining as open space including walking trails and sidewalks connecting the community. There will be a community center with gathering space, fire pit and seating area, and a fenced dog park.
